Erling Haaland has joined the craze for staying focused on a plane ride. The Manchester City star spent seven hours looking at the flight map on his return from America.
The Norwegian forward was in fine form for the Premier League champions during their stay in the United States. Pep Guardiola has given plenty of youngsters a chance in the States, but the two-time Golden Boot winner has found the back of the net five times in four games.
Haaland found the net against Celtic and AC Milan, before scoring a hat-trick in the 4-2 win over Chelsea. The prolific forward has lost none of his brilliance, having scored 90 goals for City in 98 appearances in all competitions.
Erling Haaland’s new challenge
Haaland boasts great physical and mental strength, qualities he once again highlighted upon his return from the United States. Rather than relaxing and unwinding during the trip, the 24-year-old revealed that he had ” faced a 7-hour flight with no phone, no sleep, no water, no food, with only a map.”
The City superstar says that challenge was “easy” and will now turn his attention to Premier League opponents, with rivals Manchester United facing in the 2024 Community Shield before the defence of the domestic crown begins away to Chelsea on August 18.
