The question of Ethan Mbappé’s future at PSG inevitably arises as his big brother has decided to leave the capital club.

It is now a certainty: Kylian Mbappé will no longer be in Paris next season. The French world champion, at the end of his contract next June, has in fact announced to his president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, his intention to leave the capital club at the end of the season, taking care to specify that his decision was irrevocable.

The French champions were not surprised by the announcement of their star striker, whose signs in recent weeks were not misleading. They have been working on his succession for several weeks, determined to make a big impact during the next summer transfer window. In a press release published internally, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi also insisted on the club’s desire to focus on young players as they were able to do last summer with Bradley Barcola or Gonçalo Ramos.

At the end of the contract next June…

Warren Zaire-Emery, in the process of extending his contract, should therefore become one of the new symbols of PSG and necessarily raises the question of the future of Ethan Mbappé, who, at only 16 years old, is training now with the professional squad and appears regularly in the group. The brother of the world champion will also be at the end of his contract next June…

But for many supporters, the young midfielder cannot stay at PSG while his big brother leaves the club. This is evidenced by the numerous messages posted on social networks to this effect.

However, according to The Athletic, Kylian Mbappé’s decision should not impact the discussions concerning the U16 international and the trend would rather go towards a first professional contract for the native of Montreuil. Questioned by Luis Enrique after his brother’s speech on Friday, Ethan Mbappé was also clear: “I’m a real Titi, I stay at PSG,” he replied.
