Ethan Page has someone new to be thankful for this year.
Page spoke with WrestleZone to promote NXT Deadline and to commemorate the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. Page is Canadian-born, but he readily admits that there’s not much he loves more than a good old-fashioned American holiday.
In regards to who he’s thankful for, the former NXT Champion shared praise for Terry Taylor. The former WCW/WWF star is currently a trainer for WWE, and Page said that Taylor’s advice has been paramount in shaping his current run in WWE.
“I’m glad you said ‘who’ because I am super-thankful for Terry Taylor. I think his thoughts and my thoughts definitely align, but I’m wrong a lot of the time. And not because he tells me I’m wrong,” Page noted, “but because when I hear him speak, I understand that I’m wrong. I’m just very grateful for the guidance that he is giving on a daily basis and I think it’s very, very helpful to my career. I’m very thankful that we were able to work together and he would coach me.
“I hope, no matter where my career goes — even if it’s outside of WWE. I hope that when I call, he’ll answer because the guy is full of gold,” Page added. “The knowledge he has is worth gold, so I’m very thankful for that.”

Ethan Page is an American Dad
In previous years, Page joked about his family forcing him into “eating like crap” on Thanksgiving. Page said that he’s not only hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year, but he’s also carving the turkey himself.
“I’m carving it [this year]! I had to order a knife on Amazon, pal! I’m carving the turkey,” Page said. “You know that TV show, American Dad? Yeah? That’s a biography on my life.”
Page said that some pro wrestlers might appear around his table this year, joking that “we’ll see how Eddie Kingston keeps his composure at Thanksgiving dinner.”
