Juventus winger Federico Chiesa has been linked with a move away from Italy at the end of the season.
A report from Tuttosport claims that Liverpool made enquiries for the 26-year-old Italian winger last summer, but they did not make a move for him in the end. However, the English club remain interested in signing him and they could look to make a move at the end of the season.
Juventus are willing to respond to offers for the player provided it meets their asking price. The Italian giants value the player around €50-60 million and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are ready to pay up.
It is no secret that Liverpool need more quality in the wide areas. Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz are the only natural wingers at the club. Liverpool must look to bring in another quality winger at the end of the season.
In addition to that, Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move away from the club and the Reds might need to replace him adequately.

Chiesa is slowly getting back to his peak form and he has done reasonably well this season after recovering from his injury problems. The 26-year-old will look to get back to his best and regular football in the Premier League could be ideal for him.
The reported asking price might look like a bargain if the Italian international manages to fulfil his potential at the Premier League club in the coming seasons.
Meanwhile, there have been rumours of a potential contract extension. It remains to be seen whether the two parties can secure an agreement in the coming weeks. If the contract extension doesn’t go through, a summer transfer seems likely for the winger.
