Things are falling into place for Youssouf Fofana. The French international, a semi-finalist at Euro 2024, is set to leave AS Monaco in the coming days. Indeed, the midfielder has reportedly reached an agreement with a European giant.

According to the journalist’s information RMC Sport Fabrice Hawkins, the Monegasque, has reportedly reached an agreement with AC Milan for a contract for the next four seasons. Now, the Italian club must find common ground with AS Monaco to finalize the transfer.

AC Milan seems well on its way to completing the arrival of Youssouf Fofana. However, the Italians have competition on the file. Still according to RMC Sport, Manchester United and another English club competing in the Champions League next season are keeping an eye on the Frenchman’s situation (the club in question was not named).

The two clubs could enter the dance and thwart the plans of the Milanese who are ahead of the file. Under contract until June 2025, the 25-year-old player has a market value of 30 million euros according to the site Transfermarkt. An easily achievable sum for the two English clubs. Not sure that this is the case for the Rossoneri…
