Even More 'The Night Agent' Cast Changes Revealed for Season 3: Three Actors Promoted to Series Regular, Plus an Exit Confirmed

Netflix is currently working on the third season of The Night Agent and fans have plenty of questions about who will be back amid that intense second season.

We already knew plenty of details about returning cast members and new stars joining the show, but now we’ve learned three people have been promoted and one actor is definitely not coming back.

“We wanted Season 2 to stand on its own, and I feel like Season 2 has a satisfying conclusion, but also platforms and sets up a couple of things that will be part of Season 3,” series creator Shawn Ryan told Deadline. “I don’t view it as one extended season that’s being divided into two seasons, I view it as one specific story that ends but has some consequences to how Peter ended it that he’ll have to clean up as part of Season 3.”

“There will be new storylines in Season 3 that don’t relate at all to anything in Season 2. We want the seasons to feel separate, but there will be some carryover, and there will be some actors from Season 2 that carry over to season three,” he added.

Netflix will likely debut the new season in late 2025 or early 2026.
