The Great British Bake Off (or The Great British Baking Show, as it’s known on Netflix in the U.S. and Canada, or GBBO) is a favorite around the world. The charming British TV baking competition features a group of amateur bakers competing to impress a group of judges with their skills, taking on a series of challenges and determining the “Star Baker” of the week throughout each episode until an eventual winner is crowned. The show first debuted back in August of 2010, and there have already been 14 concluded seasons – or series – ever since. The show has gone on to enjoy worldwide success and different spinoffs and specials along the way. The winners of each series have also gone on to enjoy tremendous success, launching cookbooks, TV specials and landing major endorsement deals.
