Ex- CEO of Herbert Wigwe’s Foundation, Antonia Ally, has been appointed as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo.
The announcement was made by the minister himself, who expressed confidence in Ally’s ability to bring valuable insights and expertise to the ministry. He noted that Ally would serve as his S.A on matters related to the aviation sector, further strengthening the government’s commitment to the development of aviation and aerospace in the country.
The native of Cross River state is known for her leadership role at HOW Foundation. She has built a solid reputation in the corporate world and philanthropic circles. Her appointment is seen as a strategic move to enhance the growth and progress of Nigeria’s aviation industry, especially as the country continues to focus on expanding its aviation and aerospace capabilities.
Ally, who is a graduate of Business Management and Marketing from Brunel University, United Kingdom, led the development of the team that produced The Wigwe University. Her wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors positions her well to contribute to the advancement of Nigeria’s aviation goals.
Her role as adviser on Airport standards and also serving as the head volunteer coordinator of the Special Airport Marshal reporting activities of the industry directly to the minister’s desk on airport standards.
