John Laurinaitis gained attention for his purported involvement in Vince McMahon’s hush money settlement scandal. Subsequently, he faced significant consequences as WWE parted ways with him. Laurinaitis was also implicated in Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit and claimed he was nothing but a victim. In light of this, a former WWE star simply dismissed his claim as laughable.
As previously reported, Vince McMahon is facing accusations of sexual trafficking and other misconduct from former WWE employee Janel Grant. In her lawsuit, Grant alleges that McMahon shared explicit content of her without consent, involving other WWE employees, unnamed executives, and stars, and directed her to engage in sexual activities with them.
John Laurinaitis was also named in the lawsuit, with allegations that he also engaged in sexual activities with Janel Grant. Laurinaitis then claimed that he was victim in the lawsuit.
While speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine with Mac Davis, Teddy Long expressed skepticism about John Laurinaitis’ statement. Teddy Long, who isn’t a fan of Johnny Ace at all, made it clear he found the claim laughable and did not believe it for one second, knowing John Laurinaitis.
”Man listen, I don’t wanna comment on this stuff because you know like I will always say it, people are innocent until proven guilty. But you know what, that just makes me laugh all over the place… Is he trying to campaign for a comedy show or get on TV to tell jokes or something? That’s hilarious. Like I said, I am not saying anything about it but in my opinion. I believe he is guilty, but that’s me. That’s just me talking.”
The lawsuit prompted Vince McMahon to resign from WWE and TKO for good. WWE has also removed all traces of McMahon following the lawsuit. We’ll have to see what will become of John Laurinaitis in the end.
