Vince McMahon is a polarizing figure in professional wrestling history and faces recent trafficking allegations that have sparked widespread debate and controversy. He is currently facing sexual trafficking allegations and it appears a former WWE star will choose not to address McMahon’s allegations if they meet in real life.
On January 25th, Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed lawsuit against WWE, John Laurinaitis, and Vince McMahon. The lawsuit alleges McMahon’s involvement in sexual assault, emotional abuse, and sex trafficking, detailing incidents that took place between their initial meeting in March 2019 and March 2022.
While speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Teddy Long shared that he wouldn’t bring up certain topics if he were to meet Vince McMahon. He believes it’s not his place to inquire about specific situations with his former boss.
Instead, Teddy Long expressed a preference to have a friendly conversation, maybe give McMahon a hug, and discuss other matters without delving into sensitive issues. He emphasized that it wouldn’t be his position to inquire about such matters directly.
“I wouldn’t even bring that up. I would just speak to him and maybe give him a big hug, see how he looks, and compliment him on how he looks. You know, let’s sit down, let’s talk. I wouldn’t even bring that up because I don’t think I’m at liberty to do that. I don’t think that would be my position to move right into Vince if I met him and say, ‘Hey man, what’s going on with all that stuff?’ That ain’t my spot. So, I wouldn’t even bring it up.”
Female WWE performers are now being questioned by various news reporters in the aftermath of Vince McMahon’s scandal. Nevertheless, only time will tell whether McMahon will be brought to justice for his actions.
