1 Manchester United earned their first draw of the Premier League campaign on Saturday, courtesy of a 0-0 stalemate with Crystal Palace.
Throughout the later stages of the game, you could argue that the visitors had all but settled for the point, with their being little attacking threat on display despite Rasmus Hojlund making his return off the bench.
Palace would also be well within their rights to feel aggrieved at the result – especially given that they looked certain to break the deadlock in the 64th minute; Andre Onana got his hand to a superb strike from Eddie Nketiah, before somehow recovering quickly enough to deny Ismaila Sarr on the follow-up a split second later.
The remarkable double-save saw the shot-stopper quickly praised – and thanked – by his teammates, and aided Onana in picking up his third clean sheet of the season – now joint with last term’s Golden Glove winner, David Raya.

Onana hailed for goal-denying heroics
Reacting to the Cameroonian’s heroics, MUTV pundit Ben Thornley was in awe, saying: “Sometimes when a goalkeeper hasn’t been asked to do very much, to produce something like that was exceptional, it really was.
“It’s not just the first one, it’s the way he gets to his feet.”
Fraizier Campbell chimed in: “It was brilliant. The double save kept his team in the game. Down at Southampton, he saves that penalty, they score that, and it turns the game completely on its head.
“We’ve had to be patient with him. He had a period where he wasn’t having a great time, but he’s coming good now. He’s looking confident. I think when you are in a back four, and you’ve got a ‘keeper behind you that you trust with the ball, and you know is going to make some saves, it calms everyone down. A bit of consistency is key.”
