Crystal Palace star Michael Olise is highly sought-after but his preference this summer is to sign for Manchester United.

Manchester United are leading the race to secure the signing of Michael Olise, Stretty News has been told.

It is understood that should United formalise their interest with an official offer this summer and the clubs agree, the player is happy to turn down interest from other Premier League clubs as well as Bundesliga duo Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund to join his boyhood club.

The 22-year-old has been a standout performer in the Premier League for the past two seasons. This term, however, the French winger suffered hamstring injuries which kept him out of action as the Eagles struggled to win matches under former manager Roy Hodgson, who has since been replaced.

Olise still managed to provide seven goal contributions in the last six games of the campaign, under Oliver Glasner, who we can only presume doesn’t want to replace any of his best players at Selhurst Park this summer.

United officials have met with Olise’s representatives, leaving them convinced that an offer will come this summer for a player they’ve tracked since his time at Reading between 2017-2021.

Meanwhile, Palace have been seeking replacements for Marc Guehi, Eze and Olise since November.
