Transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided his latest update on players who could potentially be on the way out of Barcelona this summer, including Vitor Roque.
The young Brazilian striker has struggled since joining Barca, having failed to get much playing time, while his agent Andre Cury has recently given some explosive interviews about the player’s poor relationship with manager Xavi.
Speaking exclusively to CaughtOffside for his Daily Briefing column, however, Romano played down talk of Roque’s future already being decided, with talks yet to take place, though they’re expected to happen soon.
It is likely, though, that Barcelona will have to make sales this summer for Financial Fair Play reasons, with Romano naming Ansu Fati and Raphinha as two others facing uncertain futures with the Catalan giants.
Fabrizio Romano on Barcelona transfer exits to expect this summer
Vitor Roque of Barcelona“Deco has not decided anything on the future of Vitor Roque yet. There will be a meeting between all parties in the next days, discussions will follow with all parties involved to decide on the player’s future. Some patience is needed on this case among many, many rumours,” Romano said.
“Still, with Financial Fair Play concerns, Barcelona will have to sell some players this summer of course. However, for now I can guarantee they have not decided anything yet, every day on media it looks like one player is leaving but the reality is that at the moment it’s still quiet.

“For example, Ansu Fati remains one of the players expected to leave and let’s see what kind of proposals they will receive for Raphinha.”
Some Barca fans will no doubt be disappointed that Fati no longer seems to be in the club’s plans, with injuries really seeming to derail what had looked like being such a promising career for the La Masia academy product.
