Manchester United and Tottenham are among the numerous top clubs to have scouted FC Copenhagen wonderkid Roony Bardghji in recent times, according to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking exclusively to CaughtOffside for his latest column in the Daily Briefing, Romano stated that the talented 18-year-old also has interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Juventus, but it could also be that we see him snapped up by one of the big names in the Premier League.
Bardghji faces an uncertain future at the moment, with Copenhagen no longer playing him as he’s yet to agree on a new contract with the club, with his current deal due to expire in 18 months’ time.
This could mean Bardghji’s situation is one to watch in the weeks and months ahead, and one imagines there’ll surely be more clubs showing an interest soon if it really looks like he could be available, and possibly for a reduced fee as well as Copenhagen surely won’t want to risk losing him for free in summer 2025.

Discussing the interest in Bardghji, Romano said: “With 18 months left on his contract and currently not playing, Roony Bardghji’s future will depend on Copenhagen, let’s see what they decide to do but at the moment there’s no agreement on a new contract.

“The clubs who sent scouts to follow him are Tottenham, Man United, Barcelona and Bayern. These four clubs appreciate him, Juventus also plan to send their scouts soon.”
The talented teenager really impressed against United in the Champions League earlier this season, so it’s not too surprising that he made an impression on the Red Devils, while Spurs could also surely do well to pounce for him to improve their depth in attack for next season.
