In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sunny Deol talks about the success of Gadar 2 recalls Gadar 1. He says, “I think this is Gadar 2’s success party. Peheli baar maine aise kuch kiya hoga. Kai saalo se laga hua tha, peheli Gadar ne meri dukaan bandh ki aur dusri Gadar ne ekdum kholdi. Bahut pyaar mila tha, sab log aaye and it was so beautiful. It was one of those…I don’t know if that moment will ever come again? That was such a beautiful moment. It was utterly beautiful.” (I think this is Gadar 2’s success party. This must be the first time I’ve done something like this. I had been at it for years—Gadar 1 shut down my shop, and Gadar 2 reopened it completely. I received so much love, everyone came, and it was so beautiful. It was one of those moments… I don’t know if such a moment will ever come again. It was truly a beautiful moment. It was utterly beautiful.)
About Gadar 2
Gadar 2, directed by Anil Sharma, is the much-awaited sequel to the 2001 cult classic Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The film sees Sunny Deol reprise his iconic role as Tara Singh, with Ameesha Patel returning as Sakina and Utkarsh Sharma playing their son. Set during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, the story follows Tara’s daring mission to rescue his son from across the border.
