The Elephants claimed a 2-0 victory against Guinea-Bissau in the opening game of the competition.

Nigeria need to avoid defeat against Jean Louis Gasset’s men to boost their chances of claiming a place in the Round of 16.

Troost-Ekong reckoned it is important for the Super Eagles to go all out and fight for a win.

“We know what is at stake against Cote d’Ivoire. It’s a must win game for us and we must fight hard for the three points,” the PAOK Salonica of Greece player told Completesports.com.

”It’s going to be a difficult game, we know that. They will have 60,000 fans in the stadium backing them to win.

It’s not something that is going to scare us. We are top professionals and have have face similar situation like this in the past.

” We will give our best and ensure we come out with a win.”
