Actress Taapsee Pannu has made a name for herself in the film world by starring in movies like Pink, Thappad, Manmarziyaan, Saand Ki Aankh and more. The actress – who was last seen in the Shah Rukh Khan co-starrer Dunki, is the latest guest on cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s debut talk show, Dhawan Karenge. Taapsee Pannu: I had to live up to Preity Zinta’s reputation
During a candid conversation with Shikhar Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu opened up about actress Preity Zinta being her idol. Making an unexpected disclosure, the actress told the Dhawan Karenge host, “I was first brought into Bollywood because I share a resemblance with Preity Zinta. She has a very good energy and you know it well.”
Taapsee continued, “The aura of Preity ma’am is very lively and she seems very intelligent. I felt like I had to live up to her reputation as I was brought into the industry because of her name. So, I always put in an effort to be like her.”

The teaser has been released and looks quite intriguing. She will also star in Khel Khel Mein. This film also features Akshay Kumar, Amy Virk, Aditya Seal, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal, and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles. The actress – who recently tied the knot to her boyfriend Mathias Boe, will also feature in Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?
