Pablo Torre has created quite the stir at Barcelona, proving his worth to Hansi Flick with impressive performances in a mere five matches.
In the match against Sevilla, Torre came on in the last 15 minutes, replacing Lamine Yamal and despite the short time on the pitch, he made an immediate impact, scoring two goals.
His performance has presented Flick with a welcome selection headache, showing that Torre is more than capable of handling the attacking midfield role.
Torre is determined
The return of key players like Fermin Lopez, Frenkie de Jong and Dani Olmo might increase competition for Torre, but he seems determined to hold his ground.
His efficiency has been outstanding, making the most of every opportunity Flick has given him. Against Sevilla, Torre reinforced his value to the team.
To put things in perspective, this season, the youngster is proving that he belongs in the squad, justifying the trust placed in him by the German coach.

That works out to an impressive average of one goal every 67 minutes, a figure that rivals some of La Liga’s top scorers.
Once considered for exit
Remarkably, Torre’s goal-scoring rate is comparable to that of Robert Lewandowski, who has 12 goals in the league. Lewandowski averages one goal every 66 minutes, which is just one minute better than Torre’s rate.
Flick has clearly recognised Torre’s potential, starting him in three consecutive matches against Villarreal, Getafe, and Osasuna, offering him more playing time than Xavi did during his tenure at the club.
Despite speculation about his future, both Barcelona and Torre have ruled out a winter transfer. The young midfielder is confident that he can succeed at the club, and with his current form, it is hard to argue against that belief.
