‘Eyes Of Tammy Faye’ Actor Gabriel Olds Charged With Seven Felony Sexual Assault Counts

Gabriel Olds, the actor who played Pat Robertson in the 2021 feature film The Eyes of Tammy Faye, has been charged with seven felony sexual assault charges.

The LAPD is seeking additional victims and witnesses in a series of sexual assaults in the Los Angeles area. The Los Angeles Superior Court issued a warrant for his arrest for $3.5 million.

The LAPD says that Olds, who has made appearances on NCIS: Los Angeles, Amazing Stories and SEAL Team, raped a 41-year-old woman on January 19, 2023. After the woman reported the rape, two additional adult victims came forward and made similar reports dating back to 2013.

The women describe consensual dating encounters “that descended into violent sexual assault.” In addition to the three women, two additional women have reported lesser violent sexual conduct by Olds. Detectives suspect there may be more victims nationwide “due to Olds’s travels as an actor.”=

According to the women who made the allegations, Olds used his status as an Ivy League alumnus with success in the film industry to meet women to arrange dates. In recent years, several women reported meeting him via dating applications. According to police, “Each victim reported that Olds lured them into a false sense of security during their initial encounters, then turned violent without seeking their consent.”

“We heard the same story again and again,” said Detective Brent Hopkins, a Special Assault Section supervisor. “Mr. Olds started off charming, but then used brutal violence to carry out these rapes. Some of these survivors suffered in silence for years before finding the strength to speak up. Now that he’s off the streets, we want to make sure everyone has a chance to be heard.”
