Man United’s FA Cup triumph on Saturday will not impact INEOS’ decision on the future of Erik ten Hag as the Dutch coach’s job at Old Trafford is still under threat.
The 2023/24 campaign has been a very underwhelming one for the Manchester club and heading into the FA Cup final a report from The Guardian stated that Ten Hag would be sacked regardless of the final result at Wembley.
This dominated discussions on the day of the FA Cup final but Man United would overcome the odds to beat Man City to lift their second trophy in two seasons.
Ten Hag was praised for his gameplan after the match and many United fans want the former Ajax boss to stay. However, the win over City will not have a major impact on INEOS’ decision to move on from the 54-year-old as they will make it related to performances over the last two years, reports Man United journalist Peter Hall.
Erik ten Hag is still under pressure at Man United

Man United need to move on from Erik ten Hag
The FA Cup win will make it harder for Man United to sack Ten Hag but it is a strong decision INEOS must make. Although there have been factors in why the Manchester club have underperformed this season, the Ducth coach was not able to fix their situation across the entire campaign.
This should be a big concern for United fans as at the end of the day, the Red Devils finished eighth in the Premier League.
The Dutch coach is simply not good enough for the level and Man United need a stronger personality to be able to deal with the current squad that has a lot of players who think they are better than they really are.
