Friday has seen an announcement made on FA Cup third round matches to be shown live on UK TV.
An official release (see below) from The FA making this public.
Six FA Cup third round TV matches listed as changed.
With four to be shown on ITV and two on BBC.
Official announcement from The FA – 6 December 2024:
‘The main live broadcast selections for the 2024-25 Emirates FA Cup third round have now been made by the BBC and ITV. Their dates, ties, kick-off times and channels are as follows:

Each of the sides involved in these main live broadcast selections will receive £85,000 in addition to any payments from the competition’s prize fund.
Further broadcast selections and the full Emirates FA Cup third round schedule will be announced as soon as possible.’
As you can see, Newcastle v Bromley not included in this announcement, however, it does mention ‘further broadcast selections’ will be announced ASAP.
Looking at the Newcastle United schedule below, I can only see the Newcastle v Bromley getting played on the Saturday or Sunday.
On Wednesday 15 January, it is Newcastle v Wolves in the Premier League and that is on TNT Sports already, so that rules out the NUFC FA Cup match getting played on Monday 13 January.
Whilst if Newcastle defeat Brentford in the Carabao Cup, depending on the draw, United could have a home semi-final first leg to play in the midweek before FA Cup third round weekend, meaning Friday 10 January is all but totally ruled out surely, for Newcastle v Bromley.
