Fluminense midfield ace Andre Trindade was linked with a move to Manchester United this summer. Although a deal never materialised, the Brazilian has jumped at an opportunity elsewhere to join the Premier League.
United have been in the market for a defensive midfielder, but with a deal on the cards for Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte, you can begin to see why Andre wasn’t signed earlier this summer. The Uruguay international has passed his medical ahead of the move.
The 23-year-old is now Wolves-bound.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared an update on X this morning, hinting that a deal to take Andre to Wolves is only a matter of time.

United are on the verge of welcoming their fifth major signing of the summer, so I don’t think there will be any tears – yet – over not signing Andre from Fluminense.
Andre is a destroying and he is a player I am looking forward to seeing in the Premier League.
I have no doubt in my mind that Wolves are aiming to make huge profit on Andre in the coming years.
