Manchester United winger Facundo Pellisri joined Granada earlier this week and made his debut for the La Liga outfit against Las Palmas on Saturday afternoon.
The Uruguayan’s debut didn’t go as planned as Granada were held to a 1-1 draw. However, they are a side fighting relegation, so the winger can expect a difficult but competitive end to the season.
Pellistri got 63 minutes on the pitch and was primarily asked to carry out defensive duties.
Although the 22-year-old started his first Granada appearance on the right flank, they went down to 10 men in the 21st minute which mean their approach had to the game had to change. FotMob still rated his performance at 7.1.
The Uruguay international won nine duels throughout the game and made seven defensive actions.
Sadly, he did not have any joy in the final third, but he showed the Granada fans that they have a new player who is willing to work hard for the team.
It is not going to be all fun and games at Granada. Pellistri has his work cut out for him if he wishes to save them from relegation.
