The Uruguay winger is travelling to Spain on Tuesday to undergo a medical with the La Liga club.

The 22-year-old has made 14 appearances for the Red Devils this season but he’s been limited to just one Premier League start.

The return of Amad Diallo is set to further limit game time for Pellistri and the winger is keen to move elsewhere for regular first team football.

Pellistri was an unused substitute in Sunday’s 4-2 FA Cup win against Newport County and United have now signed off a move to Granada.

Pellistri will sign on loan for the remainder of the season and there is no option to buy.

United hope the chance for regular football will aid Pellstri’s development.

He’s spent two previous spells with Granada’s rivals, Alaves and is therefore used to the area.

Granada are second bottom in La Liga, having won just twice all season.
