Those are the kinds of wrestlers who often receive special attention and perks from their promotions, which often might not be the most popular. That is the case with one of the biggest stars in WWE today, but one of his fellow stars is coming to his defense.

Roman Reigns has been the Universal Champion for about three and a half years now, though he does not wrestle as frequently as he did before. Reigns only wrestled seven televised matches in 2023 and will not wrestle again until the Royal Rumble this weekend. Reign’s cousin Jey Uso made an appearance on TNT Sports and said that he was proud of how far Reigns had come. Uso described Reigns as “the blueprint of what hard work does” and that Reigns had earned all of the time off he was receiving.
