Fans call out Kim Kardashian’s ‘forced’ Caitlyn Jenner birthday tribute: ‘The caption looks exhausted’

Fans couldn’t help but notice Kim Kardashian’s birthday wish for Caitlyn Jenner was less than warm on Tuesday.

The “Kardashians” star took to Instagram where she commemorated the former Olympian’s big day with a single picture showing the pair together which she accompanied with a brief caption.

“Happy 75th Birthday. I love you,” the Skims founder wrote next to the photo.

Jenner responded to the post, telling Kardashian: “Love you so much. Thank you for everything🙏🏼🤍.”

However, some of her fans were quick point out that Kardashian’s message didn’t seem to carry her typical warmth that she normally uses in some of her other birthday posts.

“The short and sweet caption with exactly one picture I’m dying,” a social media user wrote.

Another added, “It looks so forced. Kimmy baby we know u didn’t wanna make this post.”

“The caption looks exhausted,” someone else claimed, with another adding, “Not the ‘here’s your damn post’ post.”

Another Instagram user commented: “lol you can tell you only did it cause you had to 😂🤣 what happened to the essay you write all your fam 🤣😂😅.”

Kardashian’s birthday post to Jenner comes several months after she responded to Jenner’s claim that she was “calculated” in the “House of Kardashian” docuseries, which aired in November 2023.
