Eric Dier's new accent caused a stir with fans after his Bayern Munich debut on Wednesday night.
After a shock loan move from Tottenham Hotspur, Dier made his debut for Bayern when Dayot Upamecano was forced off with injury against Union Berlin on Wednesday night.

But the Englishman held the fort with fellow centre-back Mattijs de Ligt as Thomas Tuchel's men emerged 1-0 winners courtesy of a goal from Raphael Guerreiro, a result that sees Thomas Tuchel's side reduce the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen to four points.
The game also saw Harry Kane have a goal disallowed for offside while Union Berlin manager Nenad Bjelica was sent off for pushing Leroy Sane in the face twice.
However, Dier's post-match interview proved to be one of the other talking points of the evening as fans heard an unexpected twang to his tones.
It should be noted that Cheltenham-born Dier spent much of his childhood growing up in Portugal, coming back to England when signing for Spurs from Sporting Lisbon in 2014 aged 20.
But comparisons to Steve McClaren from when he was in charge of Dutch side FC Twente couldn't help be made.
As he spoke, Dier's voice had a German feel to it with one fan saying: "Another Steve McClaren moment. Strong accent."
"Love the accent, obviously been learning the twang for some time," one fan replied.
A third put: "His accent just did a lap of Europe. Bit of German, bit of Joey Barton French, bit of Portuguese, bit of English…"

"Eric Dier has gone full Steve McClaren," another said.
The McClaren accent refers to a viral interview in 2008 early on in his first period in charge of Twente where he appeared to lose parts of his Yorkshire twang.
When asked how it felt to make his debut at the Allianz Arena, Dier replied: "Yes, very proud moment for me to make my debut for this club.
"It is a very proud moment for me and my family. Obviously, I really enjoyed it, I really enjoyed playing here.
"I am happy to make by debut here in this stadium, is even nicer so yeah I am really happy with how I've settled and obviously to make by debut.
"Hopefully, I can continue to help the team."
Dier was then asked what the differences between the Bundesliga and Premier League were but he gave a coy reply.
"It is difficult for me to say obviously after 45 minutes. Obviously, I am sure I will start to understand, the crowd here is different," the 30-year-old added.
"The atmosphere here is different. Not better or worse, just very different atmospheres.
"In terms of the football, I need more games to understand better. Obviously, from just watching on the TV and watching the game last weekend, every team is technically very good.
"They all try to play quite a lot and yeah, there is a very nice style to the football but like I said, I need more games to understand better."
