Manchester United have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Manuel Ugarte.

The Uruguay international is set to become Erik Ten Hag’s fifth summer signing after striker Joshua Zirkzee and defensive trio Leny Yoro, Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.

In terms of outgoings, the Red Devils failed to offload Casemiro to Saudi Arabia, but they are on the verge of seeing Scott McTominay complete a £25 million transfer to Napoli.

Consequently, Ugarte, 23, emerged as a top target for Ten Hag who identified the need to bolster his central midfield options last season.

Absolutely no excuse from Ten Hag not to win at least the EPL now. He’s got all his signings now win the trophy

Does he solve or the problems…
