Jason Cundy believes Virgil van Dijk is 'overrated' - but fans think they may know why he blasted the Liverpool star live on talkSPORT.
Liverpool came back against Fulham in the first leg of the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, turning a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 win over the Cottagers thanks to goals from Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo.

Despite the eventual victory, Van Dijk was in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons after Fulham's opener.
The defender's attempt to head Fulham's attack out of danger resulted in Andreas Pereira pouncing on the loose ball on the edge of the box.
Pereira proceeded to burst into the area and beat Van Dijk before cutting back to Willian, who danced beyond Liverpool's back line and fired his shot past the Dutchman and into net.
"Van Dijk can do this. He sometimes puts in displays where you go 'that was a bit rubbish'," former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy said told the Sports Bar on talkSPORT.
"Not only did he head the ball in a direction that you don't want him to..."
Co-host Jamie O'Hara then asked for clarity on his views on Van Dijk.
"Personally, I think he's overrated!" Cundy continued. "Personally, I don't think he's anywhere near the levels consistently over the likes of Sol Campbell, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand.
"He's had what, two good seasons? I know people will go on about the injury he picked up against Everton - it was a terrible injury."

He added: "There's no doubt he's top class, but if you put an all-time Premier League team together, he's not in that team."
But whilst Cundy believes there have been many better centre-backs to grace England's top flight, Liverpool fans baffled by the talkSPORT host's comments think he's still upset at his side's 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough.

"Still upset over Boro beating his team!" one supporter replied with a laughing face emoji.
A second added: "Have you seen your own Chelsea defenders Jason? Can't even beat Middlesbrough!"
"One bad game doesn't make him overrated, he's been awesome all season," a third said.
A fourth user wondered: "Does Cundy think John Terry never made a mistake in his whole career?" There were even some who took pity on him given Cundy has never hidden his dislike for The Reds owing to his Chelsea allegiance.
"Liverpool doing well really cuts deep," one fan posted. "Thoughts go out to Jason Cundy at this extremely sad time."
