Kylian Mbappé should decide on his future in the coming weeks.

The 24-year-old is out of contract with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, meaning he can now negotiate with other clubs, including Real Madrid. Los Blancos have been trying to sign Mbappé for years, and while they haven’t been successful so far, 2024 could be the year they finally do it. However, at this point, it’s hard to say what the star’s decision will be.

Real has a chance

According to The Athletic (via MD), PSG are not very confident of retaining the Bondynois, as they have identified Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford as a summer target – both players play in very similar positions, so that we consider that he would be a direct replacement for Mbappé.

The report notes that PSG considered Rashford as Mbappé’s replacement in 2022, when they were close to losing the France team captain. This could be a hopeful sign that Real Madrid have an excellent chance, although it is too early to tell if that is the case.
