FBI Season 7 is coming to an end. The hit CBS series, created by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk, centers around the Special Agents of the New York City field office’s criminal division as they take on some of the biggest cases in the city. Season 7 premiered on October 15, with the season finale airing on November 12, and fans are already curious to know whether they can expect the show to come back for Season 8. Keep reading to find out more… Yes, FBI is coming back for Season 8 officially! The main franchise was given a three-year order from CBS in 2024, meaning the series is back not only for Season 8 in the 2025-2026 schedule, but also Season 9 as well, which will air during the 2026-2027 fall schedule. We do not yet have a Season 8 premiere date, or a confirmed cast, but two people are definitely leaving. The cast of FBI experienced some changes going into Season 7. And while we don’t know exactly who’s back just yet, we do know two people who definitely won’t return in Season 8.
