Coldplay are set to be in the spotlight at the upcoming El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu on October 27. FC Barcelona will face their rivals from Madrid wearing a jersey featuring the British rock band’s logo, instead of the usual sponsor Spotify. According to Sportan agreement was reached between the group and the Catalan team for the occasion.
Following on from what had already been done in previous seasons with Rosalía, Drake or the Rolling Stones, the “Coldplay jerseys” could be put on sale in limited edition. This initiative in collaboration with the Swedish music streaming platform, FC Barcelona’s jersey sponsor, would serve to highlight the upcoming release of an album for the group, “Moon Music” which will be available on October 4.
