FC Barcelona: Flick decided between Iñaki Peña and Wojciech Szczęsny

Wojciech Szczęsny (34) should make his first appearance on the scoresheet with FC Barcelona this Sunday against Sevilla FC (9 p.m.). The Pole came out of his retirement announced last August to freelance for a season in Catalonia, time for Marc-André ter Stegen to heal and support the man who is now his new competitor, Iñaki Peña.

The latter also leaves with a head start in the mind of Hansi Flick. “ I’m happy that he (Szczęsny) says he is ready to play, but there is no reason to change goalkeepers.
