Hansi Flick has been in charge of FC Barcelona for a few days now. Although he is without several of his players, on vacation following the recent international tournaments, the German tactician is already making his mark and seems to be unanimously appreciated by the local press. In any case, he also knows that to be competitive and rival the sworn enemy Madrid, his management will have to bring in several new faces.

For several weeks now, there has been talk of a strong interest from the Catalans in Nico Williams, confirmed by Joan Laporta himself. He might not be the only 2024 European champion to arrive since the local press also mentions a desire to recruit Dani Olmo, even if it seems a little less hot for the moment. And now according to the SER chainFlick will be able to count on a new attacker.

A fairly low price

FC Barcelona has thus concluded the arrival of Pau Victor. The Catalan striker belonged until now to Girona, and was loaned to Barça B last season. In D3, under the orders of Rafa Marquez, he scored 20 goals in 39 games, and the Blaugranas logically wanted to keep him. After several weeks of negotiations, the two Catalan clubs reached an agreement, and the player will cost the Barcelonans a little over 3 million euros.

He will be part of the first team, and has signed an A-team contract. An interesting reinforcement for Hansi Flick, and the 22-year-old striker has a good chance of being Robert Lewandowski’s understudy this season, with Vitor Roque set to leave, probably on loan, and Marc Guiu heading to Chelsea.
