Javier Tebas had warned that he would not leave FC Barcelona alone in the Olmo/Victor affair. The Spanish Sports Council (CSD) ruled in favor of the Catalan club, even though the Spanish Federation and La Liga took the opposite decision last weekend. As promised, as due, La Liga is appealing the CSD’s precautionary measure, according to Mundo Deportivo.

This approach aims to show that this decision does not respect the regulations of the Federation or La Liga. She also participates in the overall movement in Spanish football which denounces the action taken by the CSD. According to several La Liga clubs, this goes against the rules put in place, particularly regarding financial fair play. This case is still far from having delivered its final verdict.
