Pau Cubarsí had a big scare during FC Barcelona’s 5-2 victory at Red Star Belgrade this week. Victim of Spajic’s foot, the defender had to leave quickly to have 10 stitches placed between his ear and chin. His bloody face, but all smiles to reassure his fans, went around the world.

Here’s another photo that risks going viral on social networks. The young defender showed up for training with a mask protecting his still fresh injury, after going to a specialist this Friday. If he is not yet certain of being able to hold his place against Real Sociedad this Sunday (9 p.m.), he will at least have tried his helmet… let’s say a new kind.
