Still compared to Endrick and other great South American hopes a few months ago, Vitor Roque (19 years old) had a disastrous start at FC Barcelona. Acquired for 30 million euros, to which could be added around 30 million euros in bonuses, the Brazilian striker was quickly left out of Xavi Hernandez’s plans and has only appeared 14 times (2 goals) since January 2024. His playing time had caused a conflict between the player’s entourage and Barça, who would be ready to part ways with him.

As new coach Hansi Flick awaited the first training sessions to judge his place in the rotation for the 2024/2025 season, Sport now announces that Vitor Roque will certainly leave Barça this summer. The Blaugrana club assures that he will not have playing time and even remains open to selling him if a significant offer arrives, he who holds a long contract until 2031. He is only 19 years old and Barça wanted to loan him to give him minutes, but the European offers are thin.

Al-Hilal prepares an XXL offer

As we revealed to you, the Lazio directors, who have just lost Ciro Immobile, are preparing a first offer for Vitor Roque which should take the form of a loan with a purchase option valued at 25 million euros. But a new possibility could change Barça’s plans. According to SportAl-Hilal, the Saudi Arabian champion, would be ready to submit a stratospheric offer for the Brazilian. A golden exit, which would suit Barça a lot since it would be a transfer with a nice compensation, rather than a loan.

Barcelona and the player’s entourage are waiting for the Saudi club’s offer to discuss, while the Catalan management is open to a definitive sale if all parties find it to their advantage. Vitor Roque will go on tour in the United States with the Blaugranas and a final decision will then be made for the 19-year-old forward. For his part, the former Athletico Paranaense striker is already getting used to the idea that he will not continue at Barça and would like to find playing time again.
