The new defeat conceded by FC Nantes, Saturday in front of Strasbourg (1-3), plunges Jocelyn Gourvennec’s team into troubled waters.

The statistical findings are terrible. FC Nantes has one victory, one draw and eight defeats in its last ten outings in Ligue 1 after a final setback conceded on Saturday at home to Strasbourg Racing Club (1-3).

Gameiro’s goal, from the 3rd minute, and Emegha’s double (62nd, 78th) plunge the Canaries coached by Jocelyn Gourvennec a little further deep in the rankings.

With only eight Ligue 1 matches remaining, FC Nantes occupies 16th place, that of play-off player. And could slip to 17th in the event of a victory for FC Metz on Sunday in Reims.
