The time for retirement from sport has officially come for Marouane Fellaini, the former Manchester United announced this Saturday.

Marouane Fellaini has been a professional football player for almost two decades. After his debut at Standard de Liège, the midfielder with recognizable hair took on another dimension during his time at Everton. His performances then allowed him to attract the attention of recruiters from Manchester United, a club with which he played six seasons before ending his career in China, with Shandong Taishan. Free from any commitment since the end of December, he announced his retirement.

This Saturday, the former Belgian international officially hung up his boots. (…) What an incredible adventure it was! I am so grateful to have been able to practice this sport that I love so much. I am proud to have represented Standard in Belgium, Everton and Manchester United in England and Shandong Taishan in China. »

A Europa League won
