An award launched in 2009 by FIFA to reward the best goal scored during a season, the Puskás Prize has crowned many great names such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Olivier Giroud, Mohamed Salah, James Rodriguez and even Heung- min Sound. While the last trophy was won by the decisive Pole Marcin Oleksy with Warta Poznań in the Polish disabled sports championship, the 2023 edition has just revealed its winner.

So there were three in the race. First of all the Brazilian Guilherme Madruga (Botafogo FC) and his return scored against Novorizontino in Serie B. There was also the Paraguayan striker from Brighton Julio Enciso and his heavy strike scored against Manchester City last May, but also Nuno Santos (Sporting CP) scores with an incredible foul shot. Guilherme Madruga has been crowned winner of the 2023 Puskás Prize.
