Many more besides Muhammad Ali will be portrayed in Peacock’sFight Night: The Million Dollar Heist. The limited series, based on the iHeart true-crime podcast of the same name, will shed light on an armed robbery that took place the night of Ali’s (Dexter Darden) comeback fight in the 1970s.

What is Fight Night about?

Based on a podcast about true events, the series finds context in Muhammad Ali’s 1970s comeback fight, during which an armed robbery takes place. The historic boxing match changed the lives of many, and it also made Atlanta the Black Mecca.

It all starts with Ali and Kevin Hart’s Chicken Man. Chicken Man gets stuck with the blame from a gigantic criminal underworld heist, and Don Cheadle’s J.D. Hudson, Chicken’s old adversary, is not going to make clearing his name easy.

Aside from those already mentioned, Samuel L. Jackson plays Frank Moten, Taraji P. Henson plays Vivian Thomas and Terrence Howard plays Cadillac Richie.
