An eventful end to the summer for PSG! While the capital club is about to begin its journey in the Champions League, with before that a duel in Ligue 1 against Brest, the reigning French champion must negotiate in parallel the financial dispute opposing it to Kylian Mbappé. As such, the legal committee of the Professional Football League (LFP), meeting this Wednesday morning, formulated a mediation proposal in order to avoid any legal proceedings.

However, the captain of the French team, who does not want to give his former club any gifts, announced that he rejected the mediation proposed by the LFP in a statement sent to AFP. In the process, the Bondynois’ lawyer was clear about her client’s intentions and sent a strong message to PSG.My client simply wants at this stage that his work is paid, as should be the case for any other player in his situation, and for any employee who has finished his fixed-term contract.“, declared Delphine Verheyden in the columns of World before continuing: “We have an employee on a fixed-term contract who is serving his contract until the end, to whom the employer says: ‘you’re going elsewhere, I’m not paying you for the work you’ve done’. Labor law must apply.»
