Tech company focused on travellers’ safety, SafeLify Global, has launched a new app to provide and ensure visitors and travellers in Nigeria have easy access to healthcare, legal and security services at the touch of a button.

The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of SafeLify, Dr Bisi Tofade, made this known during a press conference at the company’s Ikoyi office.

Tofade, whose about 26 years stay in the United States of America and travel experience helped him understand the needs of travellers when they come into Nigeria or travel to other countries, stated that access to healthcare and security were the basic needs of travellers.

“Every traveller has two major concerns. Number one is security. They want to be sure that wherever they go, they’re secure. Number two is their safety. In this case, their safety would be health-concerned.

“There are folks, many investors, and businesses who want to come to Nigeria. At the top of their head is, Am I safe? What if I get to Nigeria and fall sick? What if some problems happen and I’m in trouble, who comes to my rescue?

“So SafeLify imagines all of those scenarios where a traveller may have unplanned emergencies, situations that arise that they’re not aware of or they’re not planning for,” he said.

SafeLify’s founder further noted that with the application which would be officially unveiled on  November 9, travellers who were sick and unfamiliar with the country or environment could get access to licensed and vetted medical professionals.

The CEO further noted that travellers in need of legal and immigration advice could connect to the array of lawyers in the network.

“SafeLify International is proud to announce the unveiling of its cutting-edge traveller safety solutions tailored for individuals, investors, tourists, or diaspora families visiting Nigeria. With the increasing need for reliable support services, our integrated Telehealth, Telelegal, and airport protocols services provide travellers with immediate access to medical consultations and legal assistance, ensuring peace of mind during their journeys.

“By utilising state-of-the-art technology and partnerships with top-notch hospitals, pharmacies and relevant institutions, travellers can connect with health professionals and legal experts from anywhere in the country, eliminating barriers that could compromise their safety and well-being.

“Our services include access to telemedicine consultations, emergency legal support, and comprehensive safety resources, crafted specifically for the unique needs of visitors to Nigeria.

“SafeLify offers a range of products and resources designed to support travellers to Nigeria, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their journey. Here are some of the resources available,” Tofade said.

He further noted that SafeLify has forged partnerships with major hotels and event organisers, to enhance security measures and facilitate a seamless experience for international visitors.

Tofade also stated that access to home care and wellness services that include nursing, wellness check-ups, and routine wellness visits from healthcare professionals to monitor health and provide preventive care for aged parents and relatives of Nigerians in the Diaspora were available.

“Elite Service caters to high-net-worth individuals and premium organisations in both private and public sectors of the economy who desire effective and private services such as legal, medical, event planning, logistics and other specialized protocols when travelling outside Nigeria,” he added.
