Technology firm, Durubata Limited has launched Appmint, an artificial intelligence-powered no-code platform, designed to improve business profitability and cut operational costs for small-to-medium enterprises across Africa.

According to the firm, Appmint’s platform aims to overcome common challenges African entrepreneurs face, including the high costs of tech infrastructure and tools that are often too complex for local needs.

Speaking at the launch in Lagos recently, the Chief Executive Officer, Jacob Ajiboye, shared his vision for Appmint.

He explained that Appmint combined critical business functions into one accessible ecosystem, allowing users to build websites, automate processes, manage customer relationships, and leverage data-driven insights—all through an intuitive, no-code, AI-driven platform.

“More than just offering tools, we provide a complete ecosystem,” Ajiboye stated, positioning Appmint as a strategic partner for business success across Africa.

The CEO underscored Appmint’s commitment to social impact, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

To support SDG 4, which promotes quality education, Appmint offered free training programmes to equip young Africans with coding and development skills, preparing them to compete on a global level, he stated.

“We are committed to empowering Africa’s youth,” Ajiboye said, explaining how Appmint aimed to cultivate a skilled workforce ready to drive the continent’s digital future.

Ajiboye described Appmint’s approach as agile, working closely with startups to accelerate their growth and bring ideas to fruition. “We don’t just serve as a platform—we are a partner in success, creating local impact with global reach.”

“Appmint is more than a platform—it is a catalyst for transformation,” Ajiboye concluded, envisioning a future where African businesses lead global innovation with Appmint as their trusted partner.

“Together, we will build a future where African businesses lead the way.”

In her presentation at the event, business consultant Seun Tayo-Balogun said the platform was designed specifically for the diverse needs of African businesses.

She explained that Appmint provided an affordable pathway for entrepreneurs and SMEs to scale operations in a competitive digital marketplace.

According to Tayo-Balogun, by removing the need for extensive technical expertise or significant financial investment, the platform empowers African startups to thrive, even without in-depth technical skills.
