Firm unveils ‘Miss Environment Akwa Ibom 2025’ to champion green advocacy

An environmental engineer and Chief Executive Officer of Kemsy Brownson Services Limited, Kemsy Brown, has announced plans to host the maiden edition of Miss Environment Akwa Ibom State 2025.

This was contained in a statement made available to journalists in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Monday.

The CEO said the project aims at promoting environmental awareness and empowerment among young women in Akwa Ibom State, adding that the project themed ‘Think Green! Go Green!’ is a celebration of beauty, talent and community service as well as environmental advocacy.

She said, “Miss Environment Akwa Ibom State 2025 celebrates beauty, talent, community service, and environmental advocacy. This year’s theme is ‘Think Green! Go Green!’

“Miss Environment Akwa Ibom pageant seeks to foster community engagement, develop leadership skills, and create a platform for environmental advocacy.”

The statement added that the winners of the pageant will receive star prize money of N1 million, with the winner taking home N500,000, while the first and second runners-up go home with N250,000 each respectively.

Registration for the beauty competition is free and open to young ladies between the ages of 18 and 25 and will be from February 18th to March 18th, 2025 while the grand finale will take place on May 30th, 2025 at the prestigious Nelson Mandela Hall of Watbridge Hotels & Suites, Uyo.

Expected to attract 1,000 guests and reach 10 million impressions on media platforms, the event will also feature the Green Excellence Award, offering a unique opportunity for corporate organizations, NGOs, government ministries, and agencies as partners.

Mrs Ukeme assures that by sponsoring Miss Environment Akwa Ibom 2025, organizations will benefit from positive brand positioning, new business relationships and access to a large and engaged audience.
