Dr. Jill Biden traded the White House for the Hamptons as the guest of honor at Ralph Lauren’s spring 2025 runway show on Thursday.
Dressed in a sleek, square-neck black pantsuit accented with a sparkling brooch, the first lady was joined by Finnegan Biden, Hunter Biden’s daughter, and mingled with the likes of Anna Wintour, Usher and Tom Hiddleston during the cocktail hour.
Ralph Lauren’s long been a go-to label for the first family; President Joe Biden wore the brand at his inauguration in 2021, while his wife’s been dressed by the iconic American designer for many major appearances during her time in office — including last month’s Democratic National Convention.
Naomi Biden, the president’s granddaughter, even tapped Lauren to design her bridal dress for her White House wedding in 2022.
It wasn’t just the Secret Service presence, however, that set this particular NYFW presentation apart from the rest.
Few designers these days have the power (or budget) to bring top editors and Hollywood heavyweights out to Bridgehampton in the middle of a busy workweek — hours-long drive be damned! — or to build a perfect re-creation of the Polo Bar from scratch on the grounds of Khalily Stables.

Charles Sykes/Invision/APModeling the clothes, which ranged from distressed denim to breezy linen and crochet separates to beautifully embellished evening wear, were legendary catwalkers Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington; the latter’s daughter, Grace Burns, and nephew, James Turlington, were also among the cast.
So was Lucky Blue Smith, whose wife, TikTok “trad wife” sensation Nara Smith, cheered him on from the front row in a sleek pinstriped pantsuit.
We also spotted Laura Dern (joined by daughter Jaya Harper), Kacey Musgraves, Colman Domingo, Jude Law, Justin Theroux, Joey King and Naomi Watts making their way around the sprawling equestrian estate, where horses grazed in the grassy paddocks and several of Lauren’s vintage cars were parked out front.
