Roomies, Kelly Rowland seems fed up with questions that aren’t about Kelly and Kelly ONLY! After repeated questions about Beyoncé’s music and Destiny’s Child, the multi-lane talent set a few interviewers straight.
Rowland expressed her discomfort while on a press run for her role as a criminal defense lawyer in the movie ‘Mea Culpa.’ But rather than ask her about THAT, V-103 interviewers pressed the singer about her past collaborators.
Kelly Rowland Tells Radio Hosts What Questions They Need To Ask
One of the radio show hosts began by mentioning Beyoncé’s recently released country singles. He then mentioned rumors that ‘Renaissance: Act II’ is a country album, while ‘Act III’ will be rock-based or a Destiny’s Child reunion.

With a straight face, Rowland clarified the reason she was on the show in the first place.
“That is her business to talk about,” Kelly said.
Another host chimed in. She acknowledged that Kelly may be “tired” of answering the same questions. However, she explained that die-hard fans like herself must ask when the opportunity presents itself.
Kelly Rowland responded in a polite and professional yet dead serious tone.
“I know. I know, but just ask them. I’m here talking about ‘Mea Culpa’ out Feb. 23 and that’s what I’m most excited about right now. I think that that’s that.”
Everyone, including Kelly, laughed the awkward moment off. But it was crystal that Kelly said what she meant and meant what she said, respectfully!

Sources Address Rumors Of Kelly Leaving ‘Today’ Set Over Beyoncé Questions
As this V-103 interview clip started trending, another headline crept into the spotlight. Long story short, an outlet alleged that the singer left the ‘TODAY’ set last week over questions about Beyoncé. But sources who spoke to TMZ say that’s absolutely not true, pointing at the dressing room claims as being the accurate story.
As previously reported, Rita Ora confirmed that she had to step in at the last minute to host the ‘TODAY’ show last week.
Well, this happened! We had two minutes to prepare ahhh, thank you @HodaAndJenna for asking me to co-host the show… Everyone was so lovely and kind, I had SO much fun doing it!! 💗💗💗 Love to everyone that tuned in, maybe we should do more??!!! pic.twitter.com/zbf4HGC9va

Page Six was the first to report that Kelly left the set about seven minutes before the start of her scheduled Feb. 15 hosting. The singer was meant to fill in for Jenna of the ‘Hoda & Jenna’ daytime show.
According to the outlet, Rowland wanted a dressing room upgrade from the jump, and after her appearance, time got pushed back. But the room she allegedly requested was already reportedly occupied by Jennifer Lopez.
Kelly hasn’t directly addressed the reports. However, host Hoda Kotb seemed to confirm that the walk-off happened over dressing room availability, not any off-limit questions about Beyoncé or Destiny’s Child.
“I just wanna say this: I have great love and admiration for Kelly Rowland. I adore her, and I want her to come back on our show,” Hoda said before Jenna added that Kelly is welcome “anytime.”
“Of course she is. She can share my dressing room. We’ll be in it together,” Hoda continued, throwing up a peace sign.
‘Mea Culpa,’ starring Kelly Rowland, will be available to stream on Feb. 23 only on Netflix.
