After having won only one victory in its last five championship matches, AC Milan painfully won on the pitch of Hellas Verona (0-1), Friday evening, at the opening of the 17th day of Serie A.

The Rossoneri made the difference with a goal from Tijani Reinders (56th), who took advantage of a nice opening from Frenchman Youssouf Fofana. This is already the fifth assist of the season, in all competitions, for the former Monegasque.

Still on the French side, Theo Hernandez, in a more difficult period, was on the bench at kick-off (for the benefit of the young Spaniard Alejandro Jimenez). The left side of the Blues still made his entry quite quickly, to compensate for the injury of Rafael Leao (32nd).

In the standings, Paulo Fonseca’s men pass Bologna and temporarily move up to 7th place.
