Dave Grohl’s lips are zipped.

The Foo Fighters frontman blatantly ignored a question about Taylor Swift on Thursday, one month after he dissed the pop star.

“A lot of people online thought your statements on Taylor not playing live weren’t fair,” a TMZ paparazzo said as Grohl walked to his car in Los Angeles. “Why do you think she doesn’t play live?”

The former Nirvana drummer simply made a wide-eyed face before getting into the vehicle’s passenger seat as the reporter gave him a chance to “clarify” his previous statement.

Grohl, 55, made headlines in June when he implied that Swift, 34, does not sing live on her record-breaking Eras Tour.

“This is my Errors Tour, how about that?” he told concertgoers in Manchester, England, at the time. “That’s because we play live.”

The rock musician’s comment came one day after his bandmate Pat Smear watched the “Bad Blood” singer perform at London’s Wembley Stadium.

While some social media users did not believe Grohl meant any harm, many Swifties slammed him via X at the time.

“My respect for Dave Grohl just plummeted!” one fan wrote, with others sharing their “disappoint[ment] in the “Best of You” singer.

Swift appeared to clap back the following day by making a point to praise her band onstage.

“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight, they deserve this so much,” she said.

“And so does every one of my fellow performers,” the 14-time Grammy winner added. “And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”

Swift has frequently proven she is performing live by accidentally choking on bugs, flubbing lyrics and more.

She said in December 2023 that she prepared for her grueling tour by running on a treadmill while singing her entire setlist.

“Fast for fast songs and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs,” she explained to Time magazine.

Additionally, Swift worked out at Dogpound gym and took three months of dance lessons.

“I wanted to get it in my bones. I wanted to be so over-rehearsed that I could be silly with the fans and not lose my train of thought,” she said before admitting that “learning choreography is not [her] strong suit.”

Before Grohl’s shade, he and Swift seemed friendly — with the drummer even referring to himself as a “Swiftie” in 2015.
