An announcement was made this week about an experienced player for the France team.
Over the past year and a half, he has established himself as one of the sure values of a perfectly established team: Benjamin Pavard has reached a new milestone under the colors of theInter Milan. But the 2018 world champion should draw a line under this year 2024.
Affected in the hamstrings, the French international defender will no longer be able to return to the pitch in official competition during this calendar year. It was his club which communicated this week about his state of health.
2024 is over for Pavard
“ Benjamin Pavard underwent clinical and instrumental examinations this morning at the Istituto Humanitas in Rozzano. For the Nerazzurri defender, it is an injury to the hamstring of the left thigh. His condition will be re-evaluated next week“, we can read the official press release from Inter Milan.
Sky Sport Italia estimates that Benjamin Pavard should remain in the infirmary throughout the month of December. The French international could thus aim for a return to official competition for the Italian Super Cup, which will be scheduled for early January 2025.
